FEATURED IN-STUDIO SESSIONS

2021 EASTER PORTRAITS

March 10th through April 3rd 2021

After the successes of the 2019 and 2020 Christmas events, I am delighted to offer a first in-studio event for Easter, and it’s time for the children to put out their empty baskets for the Easter bunny to fill while they sleep. The Easter events will equally be one of the most creative, unique and one of a kind opportunities to capture your Easter portraiture for 2021.

UPCOMING IN-STUDIO SESSIONS

ALICE IN WONDERLAND

April 7th through May 2nd 2021

We continue to create the most creative, unique, and one of a kind opportunity with Alice in Wonderland, one of the best-known and most famous English-language fiction works. Its narrative, structure, characters and imagery have been enormously influential in popular culture and literature. Your child will become a guest at a “mad” tea party where the characters give many riddles and stories; it’s the stupidest tea-party that has ever been.

UPCOMING IN-STUDIO SESSIONS

THE JUNGLE BOOK

May 8th through May 30th 2021

We introduce another artistic and unique session-based The Jungle Book from the 1967 animated musical comedy re-imagined by Walt Disney and based on Rudyard Kipling’s 1894 book of the same name. Your child can play the leading character, a boy or “man-cub” Mowgli, raised in the jungle by wolves teaching respect for authority, obedience, and knowing one’s place in society with “the law of the jungle.”

UPCOMING IN-STUDIO SESSIONS

WINNIE THE POOH

April 7th through May 2nd 2021

We continue to produce the most imaginative, original, and one of a kind occasion with Winnie the Pooh, also known as Pooh Bear or Pooh, a fictional anthropomorphic teddy bear created by English author A. A. Milne and English illustrator E. H. Shepard. Our set is based in Ashdown Forest, East Sussex, England. Join Pooh, a naive and slow-witted bear, but friendly, thoughtful and steadfast. Although he and his friends agree that he is “a bear of very little brain,” Pooh is occasionally acknowledged to have a smart idea, usually driven by common sense.

Darren Bowen Photography partners with Claire's Army

Supporting Claire's Army

In 2020, I supported Claire’s Army, who serve families, love kids and fight Cancer; I raised $1,000.00 with my Exclusive Santa Toy Workshop Portrait events at Emmets Social Table in Waxhaw, NC, and Fish Market in Fort Mill, SC.  Today I am permanently expanding my fundraising efforts, and I am excited to announce my personal support in the fight against Childhood Cancer with Claire’s Army using my unique photography. Henceforth I will be donating 10% of the revenues of every portraiture booking to Claire's Army.

FEATURED SENIOR PHOTOSHOOT

Emma LoPinto

Another fantastic shoot, the synergy began with Emma from the moment we started capturing each moment together. Working collectively allowed me to bring the very best out of Emma, using a fun approach of direction and mentoring with a passion and excitement throughout the session and allowed me to nurture the very best of Emma. The charm and edginess of these photographs express themselves in rhythm.

Israel Gore

FEATURED ARTIST PHOTOSHOOT

Working with Israel was somewhat unique, clearly, a passion for music and visuals and it was clear that he was breathing ideas. With my passion for imagery, abstraction and those moments that only occur once in a lifetime, I proudly present what I believe to be one of the best creative portrait photography sessions of the 2018 season. Let me introduce Israel Gore, a musician with immense talent and a style that could easily be found from the 1950’s.

Fundraising Events

All my fundraising portraiture events drive to raise funds for Claire's Army. We have partnered with Claire's Army to support the fight against Childhood Cancer, fundraising on our portraiture events and donating 10% of all booking proceeds.
